Austrian Ecolabel
We look forward to welcoming you to our state-certified hotel!
Your well-being and protecting the environment are at the heart of everything we do. That’s why we’re proud to have been awarded the Austrian Ecolabel by the Federal Ministry for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology.
We are proudly committed to meeting a wide range of stringent environmental standards, and we undergo regular inspections by independent bodies.
We proudly display this award as a visible symbol of our commitment to environmental responsibility. Yet just as vital to us are the people who bring our hotel to life – our valued guests and dedicated team members. Together, we embrace ecological and social responsibility by:
- favouring environmentally friendly and regional products,
- using energy and water sensibly,
- reducing CO2 emissions,
- using renewable energy,
- avoiding or separating waste,
- training and motivating our employees,
- promoting the regional economy,
- preserving natural diversity and cultural heritage,
- creating offers for guests and the local population,
- increasing the satisfaction of our guests and employees,
- continuously improving the (environmental) quality of our business,
- supporting guests in planning a sustainable holiday.
We would be delighted if you, as our guest, would support our efforts and contribute to a healthier environment for us and future generations by:
- closing windows when the heating or air conditioning is on,
- switching off the lights when you leave the room,
- avoiding leaving water running unnecessarily, using the toilet’s economy flush button whenever possible and reporting any dripping taps or leaking toilet flushes to reception,
- placing towels that need to be changed on the floor,
- separating waste and disposing of it in the correct bins provided,
- savouring each meal with appreciation and helping us to reduce food waste,
- only smoking in areas where this is permitted,
- opting to travel on public transport and using bicycles,
- protecting flora and fauna during excursions,
- respecting regional customs,
- favouring regional, environmentally friendly and low-waste products.
Thank you for your co-operation! We warmly welcome your ideas and suggestions on how we can improve.

- Winter: With a valid ski pass, the toll fee for the Kaunertal Glacier Road is waived.

The thoughtful use of valuable raw materials is a priority for us. That’s why we’ve placed a recycling bin in your room. Please use the recycling bin exclusively for recyclable items, such as paper (newspapers), PET bottles, glass bottles and cans. We’ll take care of sorting the recyclable materials for you and will ensure they’re passed on to certified recycling companies. Please dispose of all non-recyclable items – such as cosmetic products, leftover food, tissues and toiletries – in the lockable residual waste bins located in the bathroom and toilet. We trust you’ll understand that our cleaning staff don’t sort non-recyclable items. These are disposed of as residual waste. Please do not dispose of toiletries in the toilet under any circumstances.
If you have any requests, suggestions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact your hosts – we’re always happy to assist!
We wish you a pleasant stay and many enjoyable moments at our hotel.
Yours, the LARCHER family and staff
